Our Story

👋 Oh hey there! We're Adam and Val. Getting outdoors is our happy place where we reconnect with ourselves and each other. We love getting "out there", exploring an off-road trail, relaxing at an awesome dispersed campsite, hiking, paddling, and meeting new people along the way.

At Bantha Overland, we're on a mission to inspire and enable more people like you to get outside and experience the fulfillment of overland-based travel too. However you explore and play, let's get out there, together!

In addition to being travelers, we're both makers by trade and have combined our love of making things with our adventures. Over the years, we've dreamed up and make a variety of custom gear and tools for our adventure rig BANTHA1. We make the gear we wish we had, things that make our travels just a little bit easier, safer, and more enjoyable. The things we make are inspired by our travels, field-tested in dirt, and made by us in our small Colorado workshop.

We find tremendous joy in making our own gear, solving our own problems and sharing some of those products with you in our store. We love the process of creation from inspiration, ideation, design, field testing, iteration, and feedback from people like you.
